Below are any and all expenses that may come up during one dance season.

Company Wear
Occasionally we sell dance T-shirts, jazz pants, and sweatshirts with our studio logo. An order form will be sent home. This is an optional purchase. T-shirts usually run between $12 - $15. Jazz pants and sweatshirts run around $20. Moms may also order!
Lessons
Fees are due on the first lesson of each month. Cash or checks are accepted. There are some months that have more weeks than others, but the fees remain the same throughout the year.
We only dance three weeks in November and two weeks in December because of holidays. Monday classes tend to be out more due to holidays that fall on Mondays.
Toddlers: $30 per month (45 min/week)
Pre-K: $35 per month (1 hr/week)
Kindergarten - 1st Grade: $38 per month (1hr 15 min/week)
Second Grade - Sixth Grade: $40 per month (1hr 15-30 min/week)
Seventh Grade - College: $45 per month (2hrs/week)
*the price for pointe lessons in seventh thru college is included*
Costumes
Costumes are worn on the stage at our annual production in March. Most costumes are made-to-order. Costume fees are billed with October statements and costumes are ordered the first of November. Costume fees include the costumes and accessories, and a pair of professional-grade dance tights.

One costume: $80 (Toddlers and Pre-K)
Two costumes: $160 (Kindergarten - Seventh)
Three costumes: $240 (Eighth Grade and Up)
Recital Fee
Recital Fee is charged to help defray the cost of renting the Rayville Arts Center for the production. The fee also covers props, decorations, security and maintainance at the facility. Also included in the price is a recital T-shirt for each dancer, one recital program for each dancer, and a professional recital DVD for each family. Recital fees are charged with Feburary statements.
One student: $100
Two or more students in one family: $150 total
Pictures
(optional expense)
Pictures are taken at the studio in February in full costumes. Purchasing pictures is optional, but attendance is mandatory because group photos are used in our recital programs.

Program Book Ads

Our recital program books are wonderful keepsakes! Each year, our book reflects our theme and has group pictures of all classes. We also sell personal ads for the book to allow families to wish their dancer 'good luck'.
Ads run between $30 and $150
Recital Baskets and Flowers

It is a tradtion for dancers to receive a gift after a performance. Recital baskets are sold up to a month before the recital. These age-appropriate baskets have been a big hit with our dancers!
Also, during the night of the recital, Southern Creations Flowers & Gifts has a booth set up to sell presentation-style bouquets. These real flower bouquets are colorful and fun, and are sure to make your dancer feel special!
