Leotard and Tights:
A leotard is a body suit that looks similar to a one-piece bathing suit.  Leotards with attached skirts are appropriate for younger dancers. Camisole leotard or short-sleeve leotards are fine.  Long-sleeve leotards are fine in the winter.
Tights are thick hose designed to support the dancers' legs and help prevent blisters on the feet.
Remember BLACK leotards AND PINK tights!

Ballet Shoes:
Ballet shoes are leather - NOT soft house slippers.

Tap Shoes:
Jazz taps are preferred for students in grades seven and up.
Student taps for younger dancers; tap oxfords for older dancers.

Jazz Shoes:
Black slip-on jazz boots or lace-up jazz shoes are fine.

Pointe Shoes:
Pointe shoes must be professionally fitted! You are responsible for sewing on the elastic and ribbons before classes begin!

Tutus and Skirts:
Students have free reign on tutus and skirts.

Jazz Pants and Shorts:
Jazz pants and shorts may be worn over leotards for jazz and tap class.
